meet the photographer
Hiya! I like to consider myself a documentary storyteller who values human connection and adventure. I have been taking photos for about 7 years, on and off. It started when I got a camera to take pictures of my brother playing baseball and our travels, and has now led me here! (Dang, I’m thankful!) Huge Jesus gal. I love dance parties, early mornings, and coffee (trying to switch to matcha currently because I know it’s better for me but ugh), I enjoy podcasts, I love reading, and exercising, as well as making my food as colorful as it can be! I am big on movies. But, most importantly, my heart is FOR people, and I wholeheartedly believe in community and love. :)
A glimpse into my story is I currently have an incarcerated parent which has completely opened my eyes and changed my life in so many ways. Through the stories my mom has shared, it’s moved my heart to want to fight for the injustice and oppression within the prison system. It has given me a bigger heart of compassion and sympathy, as well as a new sense of humility. It also has encouraged me to hear people’s stories and always seek out an understanding of their hearts more deeply. Every person has such a unique story, mind, and heart, that deserves to be heard… and I want to hear it :)
With that being said, a portion of everything I make will go towards a trusted organization working towards prison reform. I want so desperately to see change within the system, and being able to put a portion of my money towards a cause that I believe in is the most realistic step I can take.
Choosing to book with me is something I will always be thankful for. Just know that you are now apart of something I truly believe in fighting for.

Some of my dreams include opening a cafe for women who were previously incarcerated and trafficking survivors that helps them get back on their feet, and opens their eyes to a new way of life, with a community and love to back them up. Apart from that, some dreams include backpacking southeast Asia and South America, living in Australia at some point, learning Spanish, buying a motorcycle, and living on a big ranch (although not sure if I could handle it HAHA)! I’m a big dreamer, so if you are too, let’s chat.
